Viking Mines Identifies Additional Stockpiles at Linka Project
Key Points
  • Second field mapping and sampling campaign completed at Linka Tungsten Project
  • 98 samples collected, including resampling of six historical trenches
  • Additional rock stockpiles with visual mineralisation identified
  • Ore sorting testwork commencing in Germany
  • Assay results expected in June and July 2026
Full Summary

Viking Mines Limited has completed its second field mapping and sampling campaign at the Linka Tungsten Project in Nevada. The campaign focused on the Linka (Main), Conquest, and Hillside historic mining areas, collecting 98 samples for WO3 content, geochemical analysis, and specific gravity measurements. Notably, visual mineralisation was identified under UV light in two historical stockpiles adjacent to the Conquest mine, potentially providing a near-term, lower-cost feed source. Ore sorting testwork is currently underway at TOMRA in Germany to assess the viability of separating mineralised and waste rock material. Assay results from the first field campaign are expected in June 2026, with results from the second campaign anticipated in July 2026. The maiden drilling campaign is scheduled to commence in late June.

Guidance

Assayed results from the first field campaign expected June 2026, second field campaign July 2026

Outlook

If assays confirm grade, the newly identified stockpiles could provide a near-term, lower-cost feed source as the Project advances toward development.
