Nexus Minerals Announces High-Grade Gold Results at Clement Prospect
Key Points
  • High-grade gold results up to 26.53g/t Au from Clement Prospect
  • All 10 drill holes returned anomalous gold intercepts
  • Geological similarities with Crusader-Templar suggest a larger mineralised system
Full Summary

Nexus Minerals Ltd. has announced strong initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling results from the Clement Prospect at the Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia. The first tranche of 10 RC holes (1,882 metres) has returned broad high-grade gold mineralization, with the best result being 12m at 3.81g/t Au including 1m at 26.53g/t Au. All 10 drill holes returned anomalous gold intercepts, confirming a stacked multi-lode geometry. The Clement Prospect is located adjacent to the Crusader-Templar Deposit within a well-endowed gold corridor. The ongoing RC drilling program, which is on track to achieve its aims, is designed to validate stacked mineralization geometry, test the 650m strike of confirmed anomalism, and establish a drill spacing sufficient to support a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The company plans to continue drilling across Clement and Payns prospects before moving to Branches and Crusader-Templar prospects. The program is expected to lead into an update to the Wallbrook Project mineral resource inventory.

Outlook

The company expects to continue building momentum towards the updated multi-prospect mineral resource estimate planned for later this year.
