Desoto Resources Completes BLEG Sampling in Siguiri Basin
- Completed BLEG sampling over 687km2 across multiple projects
- 143 samples sent for assay to Bureau Veritas
- Program supervised by specialist BLEG technician Benoit Sanon
Desoto Resources Ltd has completed Bulk Leach Extractable Gold (BLEG) stream sediment sampling programs covering more than 687km2 of drainage catchments across the Dalaban, Woussoubadou, Branama, Doutila, Moussaya, and Yarakoyura Projects in the Siguiri Basin, Guinea. The Company has delivered 143 samples to Bureau Veritas Laboratories in Perth, with assays pending. The BLEG technique is designed to detect gold anomalism across large areas while reducing the impact of nuggety gold. The program aims to rapidly rank catchments, identify coherent gold and pathfinder anomalies, and generate targets for follow-up exploration. The projects are strategically located adjacent to DeSoto's existing concessions and within the Siguiri Gold Mineralisation Trend, which includes notable gold deposits.
