Golden Horse Minerals Announces High-Grade Mineralisation at Southern Cross
- High-grade gold and silver intersections at Hakes Find
- Correlation between gold and silver, arsenic, and lead
- Ongoing exploration at Greenmount and Hopes Hill
- Large soil sampling program underway
Golden Horse Minerals Limited (ASX: GHM) has announced successful regional exploration at its Southern Cross project, confirming high-grade mineralisation at the Hakes Find prospect. The reverse circulation drilling program returned multiple high-grade intersections, including 6m @ 5.94 g/t Au from 34m. Additionally, high-grade silver was encountered in some holes, with significant intersections such as 4m @ 211 g/t Ag from 55m. The company has identified a strong correlation between gold, silver, arsenic, and lead, which may serve as pathfinders for further exploration. Drilling is also underway at the Greenmount project, with previous high-grade intersections including 5m @ 15.7 g/t Au from 133m. A large soil sampling program is covering an untested 5.5km of the Southern Cross greenstone belt and an extent of historic mining at Withers. Further drilling success at Hopes Hill includes intercepts such as 7.05m @ 7.04 g/t Au from 251.9m.
Golden Horse Minerals remains optimistic about the potential of the Southern Cross region, with ongoing exploration efforts expected to yield further results. The company plans to leverage geological modeling and multi-element analysis to enhance exploration efficiency and identify additional mineralisation.
