Stavely Minerals Limited has completed a Scoping Study on the potential production from the Thursday's Gossan and Cayley Lode copper-gold-silver deposits in western Victoria. The study outlines a robust economic potential with a pre-tax Net Present Value (NPV7) of A$818 million, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 40%, and a projected capital payback period of 2.5 years. The study forecasts an average annual free cash flow of approximately A$110 million and total production of 210,000 tonnes of copper equivalent (CuEq) over 13 years. The estimated all-in sustaining costs (AISC) are US$3.76 per pound of copper equivalent for the life of the mine, with an AISC of US$2.75 per pound for the first three years. The capital cost estimate for the process plant and mine-site infrastructure is A$333 million post-FID, inclusive of a 30% contingency, and an additional A$139 million for pre-production operations. The study also highlights the potential for early cash flow through the optimization of high-grade ore in the initial stages of mining.
Pre-tax NPV7 of A$818M, IRR of 40%, average annual free cash flow of ~A$110M
The Thursday's Gossan Scoping Study demonstrates a strong economic potential, with Stavely Minerals planning to progress to more detailed technical studies and potential financing.
