Significant Gold Intercepts in Chatree South-East Complex
- Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling program continues to intersect significant gold in the Chatree South-East Complex
- Three new gold-silver exploration targets identified at Nueva Esperanza Development Project in Chile
- Inaugural resource estimate for Chatree South-East Complex planned for 2025
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX: KCN) is pleased to announce that Akara Resources continues to intersect significant gold in the well-endowed Chatree South-East Complex near the Chatree Gold Mine in Thailand. The Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond Drilling (DD) exploration program has been focused on assessing exploration targets and characterising mineralised zones within the Chatree South-East Complex. Several significant intercepts were returned from both the western and main zones of the mineralised anticlinal structure. In the main zone, a deep diamond hole (7975DD) confirmed the structure, style and continuity of the ore zone. Exploration target drilling further north along the anticlinal structure assessed the western limb to determine down-dip continuity of mineralisation and southern continuity along-strike towards the main zone. Resource characterisation RC/DD holes were also drilled along 25m infill lines to provide data for an inaugural resource estimate for the Chatree South-East Complex planned for 2025. Kingsgate is also pleased to report that a geochemical assessment study commissioned to review the regional prospectivity of the Nueva Esperanza Development Project in Chile has identified three new gold-silver exploration targets - Boulder Patch, Potosi South and Santa Rosa south-east. These targets will be the focus of additional sampling, structural mapping and geophysical review during the 2025 field season with the aim to generate drilling targets.
The exploration drilling program for the first quarter of 2025 will focus on testing mineralisation extension, characterisation and anomalies in the Chatree South-East Complex, Chang Puek and Jorakae areas.
