Adacel Technologies Limited (ASX: ADA), an industry leader in advanced Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and training solutions, has announced the award of two new contracts. The first contract, valued at approximately USD$3.6 million over three years, is with a new customer for Adacel's Aurora ATM system. The second contract, valued at approximately USD$1 million over six months, is with an existing customer for Adacel's MaxSim simulator systems. Under the first contract, Adacel and a partner will modernize the air traffic management operations of the Civil Aviation Authority of a democratic country who is a member of the United Nations through the implementation of new ATM automation and surveillance technologies. Adacel will deliver its Aurora ATM automation system for the Surveillance Data Processing and Display System (SDPDS) including Electronic Flight Progress Strip (EFPS). The Aurora system will allow controllers to provide ATM services efficiently and safely through the integration of various surveillance data with safety nets, automatic flight data maintenance, clearance processing, and coordination. Under the second contract, Adacel and a different partner will modernize the ATC Simulators of the Civil Aviation Authority of another democratic country who is also a member of the United Nations. This contract encompasses upgrades to the customer's existing Tower Simulation Systems, additional Radar Simulation Suites, and specific software enhancements.
