Emperor Energy Ltd (ASX:EMP) released its quarterly activities report, providing an update on the progress made in advancing the Judith-2 Well within Exploration Permit Vic/P47. The company announced the appointment and pending appointment of a suite of highly regarded technical consultants to support various aspects of the project, including market analysis, resource certification, environmental planning, noise modelling, well design, and oil spill modelling. These technical partners will provide the independent reports required to progress the Judith Gas Field and support the strategic process being undertaken by Argonaut to bring in an investment consortium to drill the Judith-2 Well and develop the field. The company also released an updated investor presentation in December 2024, providing further details on the Judith-2 Well Funding Strategy, including information on investment and strategic partnerships, the history and timeline to Judith-2 drilling, and the appraisal well objectives. During the quarter, Emperor Energy raised $3 million through a share placement, which will be used to advance the Judith-2 Well, including the preparation and submission of the Environmental Plan to NOPSEMA, the progression of the detailed well design and planning, and ongoing corporate and administrative activities. The company continues to leverage its 100% ownership of the strategically located Vic/P47 Permit in the Gippsland Basin, which holds a 198 BCF (P50) 2C Contingent Resource surrounding the Judith-1 Well and a 2.2 TCF (P50) Prospective Resource within the broader Judith structure.
