• 5-year exclusive license to exploit PARKD's IP and trademarks for MDSB® and MDSS® systems

PARKD Ltd (ASX:PKD) has entered into an exclusive 5-year License Agreement with Fielders Steel Roofing ('Fielders'), a division of BlueScope Steel Limited (ASX: BSL), for the licensing of intellectual property ('IP') rights owned by PARKD in respect of its trademarked metal decking support bracket ('MDSB®') and metal deck support system ('MDSS®'). The signing of the Agreement follows more than two years of extensive works by PARKD's engineers and technical division, including the delivery of two proof-of-concept projects that utilized approximately 6000 MDSB® units and 7000m2 of Fielders SlimDek 210® product. These steps ensured the MDSB® met the strict performance criteria of the agreement, allowing PARKD's MDSB® to be offered alongside Fielders' 'in-market' high performing structural formwork SlimDek210® as a complete engineered solution. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, PARKD grants Fielders an exclusive license to the manufacture, marketing, distribution, and sale ('Exploit') of the MDSB® and MDSS® in Australia for a term of 5 years. PARKD also grants Fielders the exclusive first right to negotiate additional international licenses for the manufacture, marketing, distribution, and sale of MDSB® and the complete engineered solution in the United States of America, New Zealand, Indonesia, Japan, India, and Canada. As consideration for the Australian license, PARKD and Fielders have agreed on a royalty fee for the sale of the complete solution on a per meter and unit basis, aligning both parties to benefit from the added value of the MDSB® and the increased market opportunity for the sale of SlimDek210®.

PARKD and Fielders will now commence preparing appropriate promotional materials and a marketing strategy, anticipated to be completed in 2H FY25. The expectation will be to then commence exploiting commercial opportunities as a complete engineered Solution for projects commencing in FY26.
