Westpac Banking Corporation's Westpac Capital Notes 5 (ASX: WBCPH) have been suspended from quotation and will be removed following redemption announcement and lodgement of required documentation. The suspension and upcoming removal only apply to the Westpac Capital Notes 5 and do not affect any other quoted securities of Westpac.
Board Changes at Advanced Braking Technology
Advanced Braking Technology Ltd has announced that Chief Executive Mr. Andrew Booth has accepted an invitation to join the Board as Managing Director. Soul Patts Seeks Shareholder Approval for Topco Remuneration
Soul Patts is holding a General Meeting today to seek shareholder approval for the grant of FY26 performance rights to the proposed Managing Director & CEO of Topco, as part of the company's remuneration framework. This remuneration approach is consistent with Soul Patts' historical practices, with a significant portion of total pay being at-risk and performance-based. Brickworks shareholders have already voted in favor of the resolution at their own General Meeting.
Proposed Combination of Soul Patts and Brickworks
Soul Patts and Brickworks have announced a transformative merger to create a leading $16.9 billion ASX-listed company, Topco. The combination will simplify the corporate structure, increase shareholder liquidity, and expand the free float. Topco will have a strong balance sheet to fund growth and new investment opportunities, and will be governed by a Board and Executive Team that will maintain the consistent corporate governance and capital allocation strategies of Soul Patts.

The company has delivered 5 consecutive years of distributions totaling AUD 15.5 cents per share and is focused on near-term growth initiatives to further boost production and returns.
Brickworks Shareholders to Vote on Combination with Soul Patts
Brickworks Limited is holding a shareholder meeting to vote on a scheme of arrangement to combine with Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited under a newly established ASX-listed company, Topco. The Brickworks Independent Directors have unanimously recommended that shareholders vote in favor of the scheme, which has been assessed by an Independent Expert as being fair and reasonable, and in the best interests of Brickworks shareholders.
Shareholders Approve Soul Patts-Brickworks Combination
Shareholders of both Soul Patts and Brickworks have voted in favor of the proposed combination of the two companies. The Share Scheme Resolutions and General Meeting Resolutions passed the required majorities at the respective shareholder meetings. The companies now await Court approval before proceeding with the implementation of the Share Schemes, which is expected to occur in mid-September 2025.
