Mayfield Group Secures $20 Million Contract for Queensland Power Plant
Mayfield Group Holdings Limited (ASX: MYG) has landed a significant $20 million contract to provide electrical infrastructure for the Brigalow Gas Peaking Plant in Queensland. This contract exemplifies Mayfield's expertise in delivering mission-critical power reliability solutions that are essential for Australia's energy transition.
The Brigalow project represents critical dispatchable generation capacity, supporting Queensland's grid stability as renewable energy sources continue to grow. Mayfield's ability to engineer, design, and deliver these complex electrical systems reflects its decades of technical know-how and strong customer relationships.
Including the Brigalow contract, Mayfield has secured approximately $37 million in new orders since the start of the 2026 fiscal year. Mayfield's total work in hand now stands at $116 million, providing solid revenue visibility well into the future.
Fortescue Launches $600 Million Debt Repayment Offer
Fortescue Ltd (ASX: FMG) has announced a tender offer to purchase up to $600 million of its outstanding notes, targeting its 2030, 2031, and 2032 bonds. The company will prioritize the acceptance of its 2031 notes, followed by the 2030 and 2032 notes, until the $600 million cap is reached.
The tender offers are being made pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the offer to purchase dated October 6, 2025. Holders of the notes must tender their securities by October 20, 2025, to be eligible for the full tender offer consideration, which includes an early tender payment.
Web Travel Group Reports Strong First Half Results
Web Travel Group Limited (ASX:WEB) has provided a preliminary update on its bookings and total transaction value (TTV) for the first half of fiscal year 2026 (1H26). The company's WebBeds business recorded 1H26 bookings of 5.07 million, up 18% from the prior corresponding period. 1H26 TTV reached $3.17 billion, a 22% increase from 1H25.
Web Travel Group noted that TTV growth was driven by strong performance across all regions, with the Americas up 27%, Europe up 12%, and Asia Pacific up 12%. The company said FY26 TTV margins are on track to be at least 6.5%, compared to 6.7% in FY25. Web Travel Group remains on track to deliver record EBITDA in FY26.
Shriro Holdings Announces Dividend
Shriro Holdings Ltd (ASX:SHM) has declared a dividend of $0.03 per ordinary fully paid share. The ex-date is October 13, 2025, the record date is October 14, 2025, and the payment date is October 30, 2025. The dividend is fully franked at the 30% corporate tax rate.
Acusensus Secures First Major US Automated Enforcement Contract
Acusensus Limited (ASX:ACE) has been awarded a contract to supply the Automated Work Zone Speed Control program for the state of Connecticut, USA. The $34 million (US$22.6 million) contract over five years marks Acusensus' first major automated enforcement contract in the US and its largest contract secured in the country to date.
The program is expected to commence in November 2025, with full operations in early 2026. Acusensus is well-positioned to deliver the program, leveraging its capable US operations and manufacturing team, as well as an experienced transition-in team.
