Market Roundup: Vection Secures Major Defense Order, Solstice Minerals Confirms High-Grade Gold, and Weebit Nano Hits Key Milestone
Vection Technologies Lands $7.8M NATO Framework Order Vection Technologies has received a significant $7.8 million order from a NATO-approved partner, marking the first under a recently executed $22.3 million framework agreement. This builds on Vection's proven track record and strengthens its role in the European defense ecosystem. The framework agreement provides multi-year visibility and further material orders are expected, adding to the $12.3 million in revenues Vection has already delivered for this client. Vection remains disciplined in execution and looks forward to more orders under the framework in the coming years.
Solstice Minerals Uncovers High-Grade Gold at Edjudina Range Solstice Minerals has confirmed the presence of high-grade gold structures in fresh rock at its Edjudina Range gold discovery. Resampling of recent drilling results has yielded standout intercepts of up to 11.10 g/t gold, demonstrating the project's significant potential. Solstice is maintaining an active exploration pace, with further aircore drilling underway to guide the next phase of reverse circulation (RC) drilling. Results are also expected soon from the Bluetooth prospect, where previous RC drilling returned strong gold mineralization.
Weebit Nano Hits Key Milestone with ReRAM Chip Tape-Out Weebit Nano has successfully taped out test chips featuring its embedded Resistive Random-Access Memory (ReRAM) module at onsemi's 300mm production fab. This represents a major milestone in Weebit's collaboration with onsemi to enable Weebit's ReRAM technology on onsemi's Treo platform. The test chips will now undergo final testing and qualification, paving the way for anticipated volume production. Weebit's partnership with onsemi is progressing rapidly, with the successful tape-out marking a significant step towards commercializing this breakthrough memory technology.
Auckland Airport Avoids Regulatory Inquiry The Commerce Commission has rejected a call for a regulatory inquiry into Auckland International Airport, finding no evidence of excessive profits or poor service quality. Auckland Airport has welcomed the decision, stating it will continue to focus on serving passengers and airlines as the aviation sector recovers.
