Telecom Malaysia to Deploy Activeport Technology
Activeport Group Ltd has secured a major contract to deliver its innovative software-defined network orchestration technology to Telekom Malaysia Berhad, the country's leading integrated telecommunications provider. Activeport's software will be at the heart of this initiative, orchestrating a switch fabric across TM's core network and powering a new digital marketplace for the company's ethernet, internet, and cloud products.
Adisyn Completes Graphene R&D Program with IIA Approval
Adisyn Ltd has announced the successful completion of a key R&D program funded by the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA). The project, undertaken by Adisyn's 2D Generation subsidiary, focused on developing low-temperature graphene deposition techniques for next-generation semiconductors.
The IIA has approved the full A$520,000 grant, representing 50% of the total R$1.04 million project costs. This final A$100,000 payment, following a comprehensive technical and financial audit, is a strong endorsement of Adisyn's execution and the commercial potential of its proprietary graphene interconnect technology. With the recent delivery of a new ALD system, Adisyn is well-positioned to bridge the gap between scientific advancement and real-world semiconductor applications.
Horizon Oil Starts Production from New Infill Well
Horizon Oil Limited has commenced production from the A9H infill well in the Beibu Gulf, China. The well, drilled using the last slot on the WZ12-8W platform, has successfully intersected oil in both the primary U4 reservoir and the shallower, previously untapped U1 reservoir.
Initial production is testing the new U1 reservoir, with the well flowing at an impressive 372 barrels of oil per day (100 bopd net to Horizon). The high bottomhole pressure of 893 psi suggests the potential for increased output as water-cut develops. Horizon will book reserves consistent with its pre-drill estimate of 0.4 million barrels gross (0.1 million net).
Santos Receives Takeover Proposal from XRG Consortium
Santos Limited has received a non-binding, indicative proposal from a consortium led by XRG P.J.S.C., a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, to acquire all of the company's shares. The proposed cash offer price of US$5.76 (A$8.89) per share represents a significant premium of 28-44% to Santos' recent trading prices.
The Santos Board has agreed to provide the XRG Consortium with access to confidential information to conduct due diligence and negotiate a binding agreement, subject to acceptable terms. The Board intends to unanimously recommend the potential transaction to shareholders, in the absence of a superior proposal and pending an independent expert's conclusion that the deal is fair and reasonable.
